Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law of June 8, 2020 G. N 171-FZ "On amending the Arbitration Procedure Code of the Russian Federation in order to protect the rights of individuals and legal entities in connection with restrictive measures introduced by a foreign state, state association and (or) union and (or) state (interstate) institution of a foreign state or state association and (or) union." This Federal Law establishes:
1) the exclusive competence of the courts of the Russian Federation in sanctions disputes;
2) prohibition on initiating or continuing proceedings on sanctions disputes abroad.
